Appropriations Request
Programmatic Funding Requests
For organizations involved in federally funded programs, a form will soon be available to submit requests for funding, bill language, or report language. These requests are pending the finalization of the President's FY25 Budget Request and FY24 spending bills, as well as guidance from the House Appropriations Committee. The form, along with its deadlines, will be posted on this website in the upcoming weeks. All requests must be merit-based and adhere to the current House rules, and submissions are only accepted through this website.
Community Project Funding (CPF) Requests
Following the initiative by the bipartisan Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress in FY 2022, the House Appropriations Committee introduced the Community Project Funding initiative. This allows Congress members to direct federal funds to projects addressing significant community needs. Eligible applicants include state, local, and tribal governments, public entities, and specific non-profit organizations. For details on past CPF requests by Rep. Kilmer, please click here.
As we approach the FY25 appropriations cycle, we are sharing preliminary guidance to assist in preparing FY25 CPF applications. While we cannot confirm the availability or eligibility criteria of accounts for FY25, we encourage reviewing the attached guidebook, which outlines the FY24 criteria and includes FAQs. This guidebook will be updated with FY25 guidance once available.
Application Steps for FY25 CPF:
- Review the FY2025 CPF guidebook.
- Submit CPF requests via the web form to Rep. Kilmer. The deadline for requests has been extended to Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 11:59pm. Note that this deadline may change based on further guidance from the Appropriations Committee.
