Kilmer to Hold Telephone Town Hall Wednesday, March 14, 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In order to hear from constituents about the issues that matter to them, Representative Derek Kilmer (D-WA) will hold a telephone town hall on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. PT. Participants will have the opportunity to ask Derek a question or leave a message with their comments.

“Our region is directly affected by what does and doesn’t happen in Washington, DC. From important decisions about how Congress can best invest to grow jobs in our region, to legislation securing the nation’s schools, it is important for me to hear from the folks I represent,” Rep. Derek Kilmer said.

Residents of the 6th Congressional District who would like to join the call can send an email to kilmer.teletownhall@mail.house.gov with their name and phone number by noon PT on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.

Residents who sign up before the deadline will receive a phone call just before 6:00pm Wednesday night inviting them to the town hall which will last about one hour.

This will be the third telephone town hall of 2018. In the last month, Kilmer has hosted two in-person town halls with local businesses and a telephone town hall. Last week, he had a roundtable discussion with students about gun violence and then gave an update on Washington, DC to the North Kitsap-Poulsbo Rotary.
