Congressman Kilmer plans busy home schedule

U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer will visit Bainbridge Island twice in the coming week as he makes his way across Washington’s 6th Congressional District during a busy start to Congress’ work period away from Washington, D.C. Kilmer, a Gig Harbor Democrat in his second term in the House, will be on Bainbridge this weekend to host a 9:30 a.m. showing Saturday, Aug. 5 of Al Gore’s sequel to “An Inconvenient Truth.”
