Kilmer to Hold Telephone Town Hall Meeting
Representative Derek Kilmer will hold a telephone town hall session on Wednesday, March 14 at 6 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to ask Derek a question or leave a message with their comments.
“Our region is directly affected by what does and doesn’t happen in Washington, D.C. From important decisions about how Congress can best invest to grow jobs in our region, to legislation securing the nation’s schools, it is important for me to hear from the folks I represent,” Kilmer said.
Residents of the Sixth Congressional District who would like to join the call can send an email to kilmer.teletownhall@mail.house.gov with their name and phone number by noon on Tuesday, March 13. This will be the third telephone town hall of 2018. In the last month, Kilmer has hosted two in-person town halls with local businesses and a telephone town hall. Last week, he had a roundtable discussion with students about gun violence and then gave an update on Washington, DC to the North Kitsap-Poulsbo Rotary.
Also, on Monday, March 12, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Kilmer & Lt. General Stephen Lanza, and more than 100 business and community leaders will discuss how U.S. diplomacy and development assistance mitigates security threats and creates opportunities for Washington businesses at a breakfast forum hosted by the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC).
