Kilmer Available for One-on-One Discussions during “Conversations with Kilmer” Tour
Representative Kilmer today announced a tour of the region with a series of public events and office hours where he will be available to meet one-on-one with constituents. Called the Conversations with Kilmer Tour, the tour is part of Representative Kilmer’s ongoing effort to hear directly from the people he represents. The Conversations with Kilmer Tour follows a listening tour in January, a series of community town halls in May, two telephone town halls, a Twitter town hall, as well as numerous meetings with constituents since taking office.
Over the next two weeks, Representative Kilmer will be available to discuss issues with constituents during his office hours at locations throughout the district, at farmers’ markets, at Kilmer on Your Dock events at ferry terminals, and during other public events.
“In order to be accountable to the people I represent, I’ve made an effort to regularly hold town halls and public events,” said Representative Kilmer. “In addition to public forums, it’s important for folks to have the opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with their Representative, so I hope everyone will have the chance to come out to one of our events, say hello, and tell me what’s on their minds.”
In addition to the scheduled meetings below, Representative Kilmer will also attend over a dozen public meetings including Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, or Kilmer at Your Company events where he will discuss issues with constituents and take their questions.
